Located: Putnam, CT
AProduction Technicianis responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of the production equipment. They will assure the product is meeting quality standards as per operating procedure. They will troubleshoot equipment when necessary (mechanical and electrical). They will perform preventative maintenance to equipment as required. They will support supervisor to assure production schedule is met.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma with five (5) years or more manufacturing experience ? or - Associates degree in a technical discipline (mechanical) with two (2) years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be detail oriented; have knowledge in performing Preventative Maintenance;manufacturing experience in an ISO or cGMP environment is a plus; Must have good communication skills - excellent read and write skills; Must have basic math skills, Must have mechanical knowledge & manufacturing experience (i.e., troubleshooting equipment when necessary ? mechanical and electrical); Must have an understanding of production schedules; knowledge on updating Visual Factory boards; Must have basic computer knowledge; Must have knowledge and ability to move/transport and document universal hazardous and non-hazardous materials from production areas; Applicable safety trainings such as: RCRA, DOT, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
