Summary:
This position is responsible for practice management system (Athena) training and education as well as maintaining table space changes in athena Collector, Communicator and other athena systems as appropriate. The position also performs special projects in support to the Revenue Cycle when needed. The position is, in conjunction with practice managers/supervisors, also responsible for managing time of service cash and monthly bank reconciliations within athena. The position is primarily responsible for, but not limited to coordinating and providing education by webinar, teleconference, group and/or in-person as required and/or requested. Responsibilities include monitoring system enhancements and facilitating communication to Revenue Cycle and practice management and staff; setting up and coordinating table space builds for new practices and updates for established practices. This position is also responsible for set up, modifications and terminations of Users and Departments in the athena system. Works on-site when indicated to provide training and support including handling complex customer service issues.
ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating and providing education as required.
Responsible for monitoring system enhancements and facilitating communication to Revenue Cycle and practice management and staff
Responsible for maintaining table space changes in athena Collector, Communicator and other athena systems as appropriate
Responsible for managing time of service cash and monthly bank reconciliations within athena
Responsible for setting up and coordinating table space builds for new practices and updates for established clinics
Responsible for set up, modifications and terminations of Users and Departments in the athena system
Qualifications:
Education:
Associates degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
Experience:
Working experience in Medical Terminology preferred
Minimum of 2
years medical billing office experience preferred.
ICD-9 and CPT-4 Coding experience preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
