Marketing Communications Manager

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join the Marketing team in CT. You will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of the corporate marketing communications plans and budgets for global branding, websites, public relations, and social media. The primary focus is on managing online and public relations initiatives to promote and grow brand awareness in support of division strategic and annual business plans. This position reports to the Vice President, Strategy and Marketing.

The Role's Critical Responsibilities:
This position is more tactical than strategic
You will manage the strategy, continuous improvement, and daily activities of the marketing communications department and its personnel worldwide. Key responsibilities include - web site development and maintenance, advertising development and media purchases, social media planning and management, and public relations.
Leads corporate branding initiatives and is responsible for developing and executing companies brand strategy, guidelines, and oversight. Interfaces with the Sales & Marketing Council to implement brand related initiatives.
Leads corporate cross-divisional marketing communications team to ensure consistent execution and sharing of best practices.
Responsible for the selection and management of Marketing Communications vendor network worldwide - advertising agencies, public relations firms, social media, graphic design, printers, and tradeshow exhibit suppliers.
Works closely with all divisions to develop and execute divisional marketing communication plans on an annual basis. Responsible for development of annual Marketing Communications department plan and budget. Monitor market trends / competitors to develop effective marketing communications strategies
Develops and maintains editorial contacts with various media outlets, including print media, online, social media, etc. Responsible for developing and executing media plans.


Qualifications to be Successful:
BS or BA in Business, Communications, or Marketing
5+ years of increasingly responsible experience working within Business-to-Business Marketing Communications, Advertising Agencies / Designers, or Media / Publishing
A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience of professionals
Proven track record of increasing marketing communications responsibility and accomplishment
Proficient at Microsoft Office and publishing software. A heavy focus on web-based activities / development.
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Can only hire those who have their U.S. Citizenship or have Permanent Resident status.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training, Experience and Skills:
MBA in Marketing or M.S. Communications
Market Research experience
Prior experience in electronics, industrial or transportation markets
International experience with Asia and / or Europe

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
